Jake is a freelance casting director, producer and writer based in Glasgow. He is currently the Casting & Creative Associate at A Play, A Pie and A Pint after 2 years as their Assistant Producer and has cast nearly 100 shows there. He also assists Simone Pereira Hind and Anna Dawson with their television casting work. He is excited to further his casting career in Scotland and champion Scotland-based actors in getting auditions and work here.
As a freelancer he has produced and cast award-winning shows in London that have performed at venues such as Southwark Playhouse, Pleasance, Theatre503, and Blue Elephant. As a writer, he has had short fantasy stories published in Macfarlane Lantern's four seasonal anthologies and is working on his debut novel, a full-length gothic mystery.
